PET/CT Findings Previous PET scan shows much of neck, upper torso and mediastinal activity has disappeared. Mildly increased tracer accumulation noted in left pelvis, corresponding to left ovary not noted on prior exam. Can be physiological and seen in women who are premenopausal; correlation with US recommended to exclude presence of ovarian neoplasm.
